I`ve always been a very competitive person. Granted, I`m a stereotypical geek, so by saying I`m a competitive person, I mean solely in the realm of video games. There are not many other areas of life where I could even hope to be competitive save for the virtual one.

This competitiveness carried over into when I first started playing World of Warcraft, naturally. I had some fun with it for the first couple months - basically learning the layout, finding out what the best classes were and whatnot. After a while, though, I started running into some players who were just loaded with gold - like, literally weighed down to almost comical proportions. It wasn`t long after I saw these people that my main goal in life became to find out how I could become rich in the WoW universe as well.

The fact that it was so difficult and took me a long time to even see a bit of success definitely contributed to my obsession with succeeding in my task. After some fruitless attempts at getting rich quick in the Auction House (only to fall flat on my face and lose nearly all the money I`d accrued up until that point), I realized I was going to have to start looking for some outside help.

Such a minor blemish -- while certainly existent and plain-to-see -- is relatively minor and doesn`t diminish the fact that this is indeed the first guide to come along that effortlessly encapsulates all of the WoW gold strategies worth a damn.
